The French foil manufacturer AFS is launching a trading platform for its own brand’s equipment. Stores, end consumers and AFS itself can list used equipment (foils, wings and boards) from the brand. AFS reviews the listings before they go live, for example, to ensure that all details are accurate and the photos are informative.

How the purchase proceeds depends on the seller. An offer bearing the AFS seal comes from AFS (e.g., test equipment) and is processed via an AFS invoice, with the statutory warranty for used goods applying. For offers from an AFS reseller (registered shops), the sale is concluded under the reseller’s own terms and conditions.

For an offer from an AFS private seller, AFS puts the two parties in contact with each other and is not involved in either the payment or the shipping: the buyer and seller handle the purchase directly between themselves, without a commission and without a transaction guarantee.
