F-ONE is equipping the Strike V6 with new fabric

QuadX is a new four-layer laminate that F-ONE will use on the tubes of a version of the new Strike V6 wing (and on the Banger kite). The layer containing the PET film, which enhances dimensional stability in all directions, is located on the inside of the laminate, protected by the outer polyester fabric.

Ultra PE fabric is used on the inside, first as an X-shaped reinforcement and then, on the innermost layer, as a final fourth layer of fabric. F-ONE specifies the weight per square meter as 125 grams; additionally, because of the material’s stability during sewing, reinforcement stitches are not required, which further reduces the weight of the wing.
