If you start from the beach on calm water, you can launch the parawing on land and carry it into the water together with the board. Hold the parawing downwind and the board on the other side of your body with the foil upwind.
In foil-deep water, you crawl/climb onto the board from the windward side while controlling the parawing with your rear hand. You get into a kneeling position by doing a push-up and can then stand up with the support of your free arm.
