Special characteristics
The walk the dog tack is initiated like a normal switch stance tack. Instead of pulling the wing on the front handle over the head, the hand lets go and grabs the leash.
The wing is flying like a kite behind the body. This has the advantage that you can concentrate fully on foiling and only pull and grab the wing again at the end of the turn.
