Backloop Spin
Nia Suardiaz style
Just like her backflips, Nia Suardiaz also performs her backloop spins with her back fully arched, flying through the air almost horizontally – which looks more dynamic than the standard version, where you tend to swing through the spin while hanging from the boom.
Another advantage: by arching her back, she keeps her gaze fixed on the direction of travel, so Nia always has the landing zone in view. This photo was taken at the 2026 GWA event in Leucate.
